East Coast Rapper and CEO of Cash Power Respect Records, SPINX DA DON does it again! The Bronx Bred, Long Island Living lyrical genius is back in the headlines this week after World Premiering the music video for his hit single entitled “YOU SMELL THAT”. Earlier this year the reoccuring WORLDSTAR HIP HOP phenomenon had gone viral after the debut of his long awaited Album: Papi St., Vol. 1.

“YOU SMELL THAT” is presented by Interstreet Recordings, on behalf of Cash Power Respect Records Inc. with the creative concept thought up by SPINX DA DON himself. On July 9th the artist officially world premiered the music video to fans who had waited patiently for the project. Within the very first 72 hours upon its release, the visuals for “YOU SMELL THAT” by SPINX DA DON had racked up well over 20K views and started trending on the new music section of YouTube. The music video was directed by the legendary Will C — of Street Heat, executively produced by SPINX DA DON, co-produced by Randy Batistte of 6 String City while the creative concept of the music video was thought up by the artist himself. On May 28th 2021, SPINX DA DON released the single to streaming platforms and immediately became an over-night hit with fans with some saying that “YOU SMELL THAT” is the very best work that SPINX DA DON’s has dropped to date. SPINX DA DON, a well -known reoccurring featured artist on WORLDSTAR HIPHOP, had drop teasers to his fans about the upcoming music video on his social media while fans patiently waited for its release.
The original song, that SPINX fans are calling “the song of the summer” was written, performed and executively produced by SPINX DA DON himself.
The first location for the video is set at Ronnie Jewelry in Patchogue New York and The second location- City Swag, also in Patchogue New York. Director Will C from Street Heat, who is usually behind the camera, made a cameo in front of the big screen this time. Will C tells me he rarely pops out from the director’s seat but made an appearance on “YOU SMELL THAT” because he knew from the very beginning that this particular video would be a hit with SPINX DA DON fans.
This isn’t the first time SPINX DA DON Has made music headlines! Earlier this year SPINX DA DON dropped his 12 track album: “PAPI St., Vol. 1” amid outstanding reviews. Fans were so hyped for the upcoming project that they ran pre -sale numbers up before the album officially released on Feb 5, 2021. “PAPI St., Vol. 1” is one of the musician’s highest streamed projects that the East coast Hip Hop rapper has ever released with track #8 “NY Swag” being a fan favorite.
